While this is fiction, it does contain a few glimpses of my own lived experiences. What I took away from writing it is how doing nothing is a choice, and that inaction comes with just as many consequences as action.
I wrote it as I returned home from Australia yesterday (28 hours of door-to-door travel). Instead of writing about actions having consequences, I thought about how inactions can have just as much impact, and how doing nothing really is a choice.
