Shame, Shame, Shame [Narrated]
The cruel math of a vote—what it took, who it broke, and who smiled anyway.
Millions will lose healthcare. Millions more will go hungry. Thousands will die.
That’s the cost of the One Big Beautiful Bill, passed today by Congress and presented, with pride, to the man who already knew what it would cost.
10.9 to 17 million Americans will lose health coverage from ACA subsidy rollbacks, enrollment barriers, and Medicaid restrictions.
3.2 million people will lose SNAP benefits—food assistance—through expanded work requirements and red tape.
Hunger alone will claim 93,000 lives by 2039.
The gutted Child Tax Credit will push 2 million children back into poverty.
Housing aid is slashed. Medicare reimbursement shrinks. And still—somehow—the wealthiest benefit.
These aren’t just projections.
They’re neighbors. Grandmothers. Kids who just got clean.
People with names you won’t read.
Faces you won’t see.
This wasn’t a bureaucratic accident.
It was a vote. A choice.
A knowing, documented betrayal.
So we’ll say it plainly.
Shame, Shame, Shame
Shame, shame, shame.
Not the shame that stings—
the shame that calcifies.
That nods through suffering
and signs anyway.
You knew the harm.
You read the briefings,
saw the losses stacked like sandbags,
and still,
you let the waters rise.
You took the food,
the care,
the fragile scaffold of survival—
and called it fiscal responsibility.
You handed despair
a number,
voted it into law,
and smiled
as the cameras rolled.
No speech will undo this.
No spin will soften it.
You made a choice.
You called it necessary.
We’ll call it what it always was.
Cruel.
Cowardly.
Yours.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
